Benga Returns To Music
Good news! Benga will return to music in the new year. The DJ and producer behind some of dubstep’s most important records will be back with new material in 2016 and has confirmed his first DJ date in two years.
He’ll return in style with a set at Fabric on February 12 as part of a Tectonic takeover, joining Mumdance, Pinch, Acre and Ipman at the iconic London club along with MCs Sgt Pokes, Riko Dan and Koast.
Benga announced his retirement in 2014 after experiencing a breakdown and subsequently being sectioned. This year he spoke candidly about his bipolar diagnosis and suggested that his mental health issues were partly brought on by the clubbing lifestyle.
